Hi, I’m Christy — the baker, decorator, and dreamer behind Vanilla Bean Pastry Shop!

Baking has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in the kitchen with my mom and grandma, learning the art of homemade desserts, the joy of sharing food with others, and the importance of doing things with love (and plenty of butter and sugar). What started as a family tradition grew into a lifelong passion.

After baking professionally for 8 years, I opened my cottage bakery Vanilla Bean Pastry Shop in 2024 with one goal: to create beautiful, custom-made desserts that not only look stunning but taste even better. Whether it’s an elegant wedding cake, whimsical birthday cookies, or a dessert table full of treats, I bring care, creativity, and attention to detail to every order. And while I love baking just about everything, I do have a soft spot for anything with chocolate and caramel—that’s my all-time favorite combo!
